January 7, 2020 - The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) issued 173 invitations to candidates to apply for provincial nomination for permanent residence in the Skilled Workers and International Graduate streams.
To be eligible for nomination candidates must have their profile in the federal Express Entry pool. The Skilled Workers stream is for both skilled and semi-skilled candidates whose occupations are in high demand in the province. Candidates need to register in the provinces Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS), which assigns eligible candidates with a score that is based on number of factors such as - education, language proficiency, offer of employment, etc.
In this round of invitations, the score ranged between 85 and 105 points. The processing time varies between two and three months.
