The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program has implemented regulatory amendments impacting the Entrepreneur stream. The amendments were made to Ontario Regulation 422/17 (General) and Ontario Regulation 421/17 (Approvals under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program and Other Matters) and aim to:
*accelerate the arrival of Entrepreneur Stream applicants in Ontario to begin operating their businesses by establishing a permanent virtual interview process
*reduce the application monitoring frequency to reduce the burden on applicants as they work to establish and grow their business
