IRCC Program delivery update of September 26, 2022, states that Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Inland Enforcement Officers are now authorized to request evidence from international students in Canada that they are actively enrolled in an education institution and pursuing their studies. Before CBSA officers only requested this if and individual left and re-entered Canada.
