Saskatchewan Leads Canadian Provinces in Job Growth in December 2021

6,000 New Jobs Created Month-over-Month, Highest Growth Rate Among Provinces

Job numbers released by Statistics Canada for December 2021 show Saskatchewan's month-over-month employment (seasonally adjusted) increased by 6,000 (up 1.1 per cent) from November 2021, which was the highest growth among provinces in terms of percentage change.

Year-over-year employment increased by 21,900 (up 4.0 per cent) from December 2020.
