The province of Saskatchewan invited 404 Express Entry applicants and 365 Occupations In-Demand applicants through the International Skilled Workers category on September 25th. This was the first draw since Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) notably expanded its Occupation In-Demand list earlier last week from 10 to 218.
To have qualified for this recent draw, applicants who received an Expression of Interest (EOI) were required to have one year’s work experience in a NOC code of one of the 100 occupations listed. The occupations included consisted of civil and chemical engineers, consultants, financial and investment managers, information service analysts, computer network technicians, and occupational therapists.
The September 25th draw was also the biggest held this year, with a total of 769 invitations issued. The previous draw issued 150 invitations to apply on August 15th.
To be eligible for Saskatchewan provincial nomination (SINP) Express Entry applicants must also register a different Expression of Interest with the province PNP.
