Saskatchewan Invites 595 Candidates in a New Draw

In the December 20th draw the province of Saskatchewan issued 595 invitations to candidates in the federal Express Entry system and in the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream for permanent residence (PR).

The pre-requisite to qualify was candidates required to file an Expression of Interest (EOI) with the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP). The candidates also required to have one-year work experience in an eligible skilled occupation that corresponded with their education, a job offer was not needed.

The invitation in this draw was spread out to 96 occupations such as finance, health, education, communication, engineering and insurance office workers to name a few.

In total 291 candidates in the Occupations In-Demand and 304 Candidates in the Express Entry system who had a provincial score of 69 on the provinces assessment grid were selected in this round of invitation.

To date, Saskatchewan has issued 6,284 invitation to apply for PR to candidates in both of these streams.
