The bulk of the invitations to apply (ITA) which represented 301 were allotted to candidates who had a profile in the Express Entry System. The remaining 275 invitations were allotted to candidates from the Occupation In-Demand Stream. These candidates receive an additional 600 points and can be assured of receiving and ITA for permanent residence (PR) in the next Express Entry draw.

This is the 13th draw since SINP increased the list of skilled occupations from 19 to 218 on September 18, 2019 in the above two streams of the International Skilled Worker category. These streams accept candidates who have one-year work experience in any NOC provided it is not listed on the SINP Excluded Occupation.

Candidates who desire to receive an ITA from SINP must first create an expression of interest profile and demonstrate they have the funds to settle in the province. They also need to have the necessary education credentials, work experience and language proficiency. SINP does not require candidates to have a job offer or arranged employment.
