Post Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) Eligibility Changes

Beginning November 1, 2024, requirements for eligible fields of study and new language proficiency requirements are going to be introduced.

Applicants require to graduate in an eligible field of study, which is linked to labor market shortages in Canada, submit proof of completion of studies and submit proof of full-time studies enrolment for a program that was 8 months or more.

University graduates must show a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 in all four language areas; college graduates must show a CLB level 5 in all four language areas.
