The parent and grandparent (PGP) family sponsorship opens today, October 13th to November 3rd, for three weeks. Canadians and permanent residents who want to sponsor their parents and grandparents to come to Canada will have an opportunity to submit an interest to sponsor form online.
How to Submit your Application
Complete and submit your 2020 interest to sponsor form online. This form will be available online on the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website between October 13th and November 3rd.
How to Complete the Form
Type all the details on the online sponsor interest form. You can review the form before submission to make sure all the information is correct.
After the Form is Submitted
A confirmation number will be provided. Write it down. If selected, an email will be sent to all individuals to apply.
You Are Invited to Apply
Applicants will have 60 days to submit their application.
