Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program Issues 486 Invitations

Today, February 13, 2020, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) issued Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to 486 candidates to apply for permanent residency in the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream.

The selected candidates had their profiles in the Express Entry system and a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 467 and 471. The candidates have 45 days to submit their application after receiving an NOI.

The 10 occupations targeted in this draw were:

• Advertising, marketing and public relations managers

• Corporate sales managers

• Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses

• Managers in customer and personal services

• Financial managers

• Other financial officers

• Other administrative services managers

• Retail and wholesale trade managers

• Financial auditors and accountants

• Professional occupations in business management consulting

Human Capital Priorities Stream is for skilled workers with the required work experience, education and language proficiency in French or English.

The other two streams in OINP that are linked with the Express Entry System are the French-Speaking Skilled Workers stream with the required work experience, education and language proficiency in French and English. And, the Skilled Trades Stream which is for workers with work experience in Ontario in an eligible trade occupation.

To qualify under Ontario’s Express Entry streams candidates must receive a notification of interest from Ontario and have an up-to-date profile with the most current work experience, language tests and education in the federal government’s Express Entry system.
