IRCC updated the immigration application fees effective December 1, 2024.
If you paid the old fees with your application, check that you paid the correct amount.
If you mail your application, IRCC will not reject your application if:
you paid the old fee
the application was complete and
you mailed it before the fee change
IRCC will tell you how to pay the difference between the new and old fees.
If you applied without paying the right of permanent residence fee, you must pay the new amount. This applies even if you already paid the processing fee and applied before the fee change.
