Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued 500 invitations to apply (ITAs) to applicants in the Federal Skills Trades Program to apply for Permanent Residence (PR). The cut off score was 332.
This is the first program-specific draw in 2019; the last Federal Skilled Trades Class draw was on September 24, 2018, the minimum CRS score at that time was 284 and 400 ITAs were issued.
Skilled trades for the Federal Skilled Trades Program consist of the following groups of the National Occupational Classification (NOC):
Major Group 72, industrial, electrical and construction trades
Major Group 73, maintenance and equipment operation trades
Major Group 82, supervisors and technical jobs in natural resources, agriculture and related production
Major Group 92, processing, manufacturing and utilities supervisors and central control operators
Minor Group 632, chefs and cooks
Minor Group 633, butchers and bakers
The major NOC groups are further divided into different occupations, and they are all skill type B.
