In today’s Express Entry draw IRCC (Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada) issued 3,600 Invitations to Apply. The Comprehensive Ranking System minimum score was 472. The cutoff score was 3 points lower than the last Express Entry draw on October 30.
Express Entry is an online immigration application system. It allows candidates who meet the eligibility criteria to create and submit a profile in the Express Entry pool called Express of Interest to be considered as a skilled immigrant. Candidates in the Express Entry pool are ranked under a point system called Comprehensive Ranking System. Candidates with the highest rankings are invited to apply for permanent residence.
The IRCC i.e., the federal immigration department of Canada conducts the Express Entry draw every 15 days. The frequency of 15 days might vary slightly, however, there are usually two express entry draws every month.
The Immigration Programs covered are: Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class, and Canadian Experience Class. Some candidates for Ontario’s Provincial Nominee Program are also selected through Express Entry.
