Canada to Take 50 Vulnerable Refugees from Greece

ATHENS - Canadian Ambassador Mark Allen on Wednesday relayed his government's willingness to accept the relocation to Canada of 50 refugees from vulnerable groups, along with their families, during his meeting with Alternate Migration and Asylum Minister Giorgos Koumoutsakos.

Allen delivered to Koumoutsakos a letter from the Canadian government, in which it expresses its intention to receive 50 vulnerable people that have arrived in Greece as refugees, torture victims or victims of family or sexual abuse, along with their dependents.
