New Express Entry Draw Invites 3,900 Candidates for Permanent Residence
March 4, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,900 candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) score was 471. This is a 1-point increase from the last draw on February 19. Candidates who applied before February 25th, and who had a score of 471 were invited to apply.
With this draw the total number of invitations to apply sent to date stands at 18,700.
The goal of IRCC is to admit new permanent residents in Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class is scheduled to increase to 85,800 this year.
According to IRCC there are currently, as of March 3rd, 145,436 candidates in the Express Entry Pool; and there are 21,905 candidates who have a CRS score of 451 and higher.
