New Express Entry Draw Invites 3,500 Candidates for Permanent Residence
Today, February 5, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,500 candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) score was 472. This is a 1-point increase from the last draw on January 22.
IRCC takes into account factors such as education, English/French language proficiency, age, work experience to rank candidates in the Express Entry system. You don’t need a job offer to be get an invitation to apply (ITA) for permanent residence.
The goal of IRCC is to admit new permanent residents in Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class is scheduled to increase to 85,800 this year.
