New Express Entry Draw Invites 3,400 Candidates for Permanent Residence
Today, January 22, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 3,400 candidates in the Express Entry pool to apply for permanent residence.
The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) score was 471. This is a 2 point decrease from the last draw on January 8.
The goal of IRCC is to admit new permanent residents in Canada through the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Federal Trades Program and the Canadian Experience Class is scheduled to increase to 85,800 this year.
A key fact to note is that there are currently 141,258 in the Express Entry Pool of candidates; and there are 19,458 candidates who have a CRS score of 451 and higher.
