Program delivery update: COVID-19 – Temporary residence

All foreign nationals applying for a temporary resident visa, study permit or work permit from outside Canada can submit their applications electronically until March 31, 2023.
This includes foreign nationals holding an identity or travel document that is of the type issued by a country to non-national residents, refugees or stateless persons who are unable to obtain a passport or other travel documents from their country of citizenship.
While processing continues for temporary resident visa (TRV) applications, intake has been limited, until further notice, to applications submitted online (with the exception for those with a disability who cannot apply online). Information about applicants who are exempt from the requirement to submit a TRV application using electronic means can be found at Temporary residence: COVID-19 program delivery.
