If you spent time studying online outside Canada, it now counts towards the length of your post-graduation work permit beginning from the date you applied for a study permit.

To qualify for a PGWP, your application needs to be approved. If you are in a program that is 12 months or longer, you will need to complete 50% or more of your program in Canada.
